D. Philip Carney
Phil has an academic background in economics and the history of political economy, in which he has held lecturing positions and published academic papers (see the blog for links) and has a professional background in programming, software solutions and web design. His interests include uncovering the history of the deployment of rhetoric and metaphor within the pure and human sciences, and the developing interface between semantic issues within contemporary programming and the traditional concerns of analytical philosophy.
John F. Keane
John has an academic background in the graphic arts and a professional background in web design and software solutions, with a particular focus on creating semantic structure. He has a major interest in applying the insights of General Semantics to the design of user-intelligible software and business systems. He played the major role in developing the theme, branding and graphic art of Rhetorosaurus.
David Ruaune
My academic and professional background is in English, English Literature and Education, and my main interests are literary theory, especially the Russian Formalist, Structuralist and New Critical perspectives, philosophy, particularly philosophy of mind and cognition, and theories of creativity.
